Vanilla has always worked better for me than sectorials - it's just more flexible.

Whilst I didn't use them particularly well (especially the Chimera with those fiddly G:Synch rules) at my last ITS, I am sure these lists have legs.

The Reaktion Zond + Supportware is a very effective hunter. Whilst we lack smoke, the Intruder is still pretty nasty. Two midfield FO's with koalas/mines/repeater between them give good control of the board from Turn 1. The interventor has all the hacking tricks, but of course is an obvious LT.

The Szalamandra is simply a no-nonsense killing machine, and combined orders with the WIP 15 Clockmaker's G:Servant mean repairs are never far behind him.

HRMC with supressive fire, alongside a Reaktion Zond with supportware -and- an Intruder HMG makes for a very effective defensive screen.

A lot of infiltrating camo, and a potential Lieutenant assassin with Bran do Castro. If I hadn't lost first turn at my last tournament I am pretty sure he would've been in a good position to either kill or isolate William Wallace in the first few orders of one of my games for some real fun times.

Again, the Zero and the Moran offer good midfield control. The Prowler adds midfield firepower. At the back, the Reaktion Zond and the Intruder offer long range firepower, and you have the advantage of fast flanking threats from the Lunokhod and the Morlocks (if they live through turn one) - and smoke!

Damned with faint praise

That was tourney terrain at the last UK south coast tournament series event I went to; nice stuff.

First outing for the Szalamandra as well. The first time I've had a TAG really dominate games - but HRMC and supressive fire is hard to beat.
I was a bit reluctant to buy the model in case they did a re-sculpt, but it isn't all -that- bad, really - it just seems a bit out of scale with the newer CB efforts.

I do wonder if Bandits wouldn't be more effective FOs than Morans, but I have a real soft spot for Koalas and infiltrating repeaters. In any objective-based game they just have too much board control utility to pass up.

The flipside to the above coin. Lacks an engineer, but then - it also lacks robots of any kind. I've seen Riot Grrls used to good effect but only ever deployed one (Spitfire) solo before in a Vanilla list.

Is incredibly good fun. Played it recently to get a flavour for how a Tunguska list might look on the tabletop.

The Meteor didn't land unfortunately so I had to rely on the Spektr to target a Yuan Ho. Which I then obliterated with SML fire. The Daleth managed to sensor out a Shinobu Kitsune which the Lunokhod then flamed to death on the subsequent turn.

I am really loving twin interventor lists, too.

Time to start re-visiting those Nomad lists, thanks to HSN3, and try some new things.

Here's to Cats! All sorts of cats...

I've never really tried to run a 5-man wildcat link before. But here we go - lots of flames! There's also a specialist in there so that they can at least make a stab at an objective. Also a repeater in case they fall foul of a TAG in opposition and need to leave behind a speed-bump in the midfield.

First time trying Senor Deadpool, too - but the Haris makes him nicely order efficient for running a couple of panzerfausts/glueguns upfield.

The Hellcats are some of my favourite models, so it's a bit of a no-brainer to drop them in the backfield and cause some havoc.
Carlotta and her Tomcat pal are there to do their thing - emergency recovery/midfield objective grabbing.

Moiras and Riot Grrls Redux!

The new Haris and Specialists options will probably see me using the Grrls a bit more, I think. They'll be there to clear out any MSV2 so that the Space Nuns can do their thing.

The Moira + Cassandra + Healer fireteam is a bit of a swiss army knife.

Not going to lie, I am really loving all the new tricks you can do with all these Haris links and such popping up everywhere.

As for HSN3 Nomads, I'm finally likinghow the Tsyklon Sputniks look like now. Especially the Feuerbach one: almost a MSR REM these days! Especially with boosted ARO...

So, no thanks to CB for releasing new Moderators and a new Starter Box, Bakunin is coming back out to play. Haris Riot Grrls have added a lot of flexibility.

I'm trying to stick with limited insertion lists these days for speed of play and more tactical focus. It does pretty much mean however that Morlocks and Uberfallkommando aren't going to feature.

MVPs were very much Kusanagi and Pi-Well who stormed across the table to take a draw and very narrowly a win after the entire Riot Grrl link got immobilised by a Mutt with an E-Marat.
I think I would tweak it slightly to give Zoe a zondbot, take the HML Grrl (when there's a model!) and change the taskmaster to an HRL (if only there was a model for him!) because some template heavy weapons would be nice.

I was very much just using the models I have painted at the moment. Since I'm now pulling my finger out and getting my Custodiers table-worthy, here is my 10 model, all occasions list:-

Pick your flavour of Zero, really. I figure there are enough specialists already not to warrant the FO - a few camo markers to speedbump if you go second can't hurt. A deployable repeater and e-mauler couldn't hurt either if you anticipate targets of opportunity for Zoe. But Pi-Well may also help on that front.
Avicenna is there principally to pick up the Moira HMG if she goes down to an unlucky crit - the zondbot lets her cover two sides of the table.
Zoe is there to fix up the RGs if they get immobilised, and she isn't a shabby hacker option otherwise.
