Finally I could preview some pictures of the upcoming passanger wagon for the Marglev MKII. The optimization of the model was a bit harder than expected to allow the pice not to rise. Each wagon would be available very soon at 19.90 each (and discounted in a full passanger train pack)

Benches are detachable to use as a separate scenery and also would be available soon with planters for a first city looking scenery model.

Hope you like!

How would it look like next to a MKI? I won't buy another train, but I'd like to have a passenger wagon. I wonder if its somewhat compatible, even if it doesnt look perfect ...

It's just in! :D Might take a while to assemble though, as graduation and moving to another place is taking big chunks of my hobby time right now! :( I'll keep you posted!

Btw, that passenger wagon is beautiful! I'm definitely going to pick that one up in a future order, together with some of your nice scatter terrain! :D

They are not designed to fit perfetly but would work. I will post a picture later.

You've got a great passenger train there, looks almost exactly like the inside of the Tokyo Metro! Well, a bit shorter than the cars on the Metro, but that's a gameplay thing.

Here you can see how it looks. They are not designed to have continuity in the lines but can work together, and the magnets adaptors are in the same place.

Thanks for the picture!

I think that looks good enough for me :)

I prefer the look of the Mark II in both the industrial and "urban" applications, but I agree this setup does look good enough to work: if you painted everything in similar colors I bet it'd look even better!

Real TGV and other high speed trains have transitions. At worst just create a small part to smooth down the sharp cut from machine to wagon.

You're certainly pricing the Mark II with passenger wagons attractively at € 100. However, at € 20 a piece, I feel the wagons themselves are on the expensive side if you already have a train. I'd like to get 4 (eventually) to alternate with the cargo wagons, but at that price I might as well get a second train! Maybe you could do a bundle offer for returning customers? (I.e. prove you already have bought a train and get a discount on passenger wagons).

Maybe it's not possible due to costs, etc. Just saying. :)

I think I kind of disagree. Given that the MK2 locomotive is at a really low price with 16€ you get a 12,60€ discount when you buy 4 wagons and 2 locomotives. Thats a very reasonable discount of roughly 10% and doesnt make the pricing of a single wagon odd.

But to be honest I didnt want to spend 80€ for a full wagon-set (and couldnt afford it right now too) and decided to order just one wagon due to the price. And generally l some kind of "returning customers" benefit would be wholeheartedly appreciated (but it is not expected/demanded in any way).

I have just added a 4 pack option on the passenger wagon with a similar discount than the train set. I wish I could make a more atractive discount for the pack but the price of the wagons is really ajusted right now.

Awesome! :)

Really tempted, because the train would look amazing for my Batman Miniature Game games, as well...
