Perhaps keeping the train but also create some passenger cars to play through? With lift off roofs? I mean if we are asking for the world....

Excellent idea!

First test shot of the MagLev train MkII. My fear faded aways after having it in hand. Despite all the strange angles the stability is really good and needs no glueing. Only needs some minor adjustments for the acrylic pieces and a bit more engraved details.

This model will be available very soon for less than 18 euro the locomotive and under 55 euros for the complete set (2 locomotives and 4 cargo wagons).

The partner who painted the boxes show above asked me for some stencil templates to add details.
My containers have not engraved logos (but my be requested) as if added they will have the same logo always or I would have to duplicate most references.
I am adding some stencil templates to the unussed space in the sprue of the cargo boxes to help to paint generic logos on them.

I am not a painter myself so not know if you were really interested in adding that templates to other products. Would you find them useful?

1. If you have the space on the sprues to add templates for painting do it.
2. Adds character/uniqueness to your product do it.
3. If you think a little extra cutting time won't affect your bottom line do it.

If you're happy that you meet those 3 points do it!

Not on every product but things like those crates why not?

The MkII MagLev Train is released and available on our web store. The kit (125 cm total length) includes:

-2 locomotives with acrylic objetive console pieces
(The sprue also includes stencil templates to add more details to the cabs)
-4 cargo wagons
-Connection magnets (round 4x2mm), 20 units.

49.90 euros for the full pack, and also available each component alone.

This model is extremely easy to assemble (one of the complais of the previous model) because it have bee optimiced to hold half the number of pieces than the Indutrial Mk1 train. 10 minutes following the instructions and the locomotive is ready for gaming.

Hope you like it!

P.D: The industrial Mk1 in now including a set of connection magnets free of charge. Any customers that bought the Mk1 train will receive a magnet pack in any future order they make on the store (no need to contact, it will be automaticaly included based to their orders history).

I think it looks amazing! You've really improved upon the design. Although I still love the clamps on the v1 train.

I can't wait to get more paychecks under my belt. You can guarantee that I will be purchasing a set of the MK.II Mag-lev set and a few cargo crates to go with them as well. I also agree with what was said earlier a Passenger Car would be an amazing addition to the set.

Totally digging the passenger cars! What are the differences between the 'engines' of the two trains?

The MkI tractor unit was designed durign the early time of Maglev lines. At that date a true ultra-speed train were extremely expensive so a wide range of heavy traction units were designed to operate on the timeframes left unused by the most modern trains At that made possible for the whole system to be profitable.
8 years later with the upgrade to the new modular induction power railing the dream of a whole ultra-seed train network was possible and the MkII trains range filled most of the existing routes and could be focus on mass passanger transportation.
Most of the MKI old modells were retrofitted for military uses where the lower speed was balanced with they huge tracktion power and their better stability on damage tracks.

Jokes apart... I wanted different models for industrials and civil looking trains. The cargo wagons are mostly compatible, this new passager wagons can be used on the MkI but they woud have different styles. For now I will focus on the MkII for passangers and the MkI for cargo but would be more options on the future.

This model is made with the idea to fit with several "machinery" posibilities (generator, cooling, air filtering...) but there wil be more generatos model using acrylics for the power core ;)

Yep, acrylic panels for the core, and space to stick one of those battery-powered tealights inside. Should look suitably awesome.
