Hi,what are you think about CA list with few Umbras ? This race (and models) are awsome and i'm thinking about create list based on them with some Maakrep,Undrone and Fraacta

Umbras are nasty, bukeep in mind they are only a part of the list - and pretty expensive part.

Would you mind posting the list you are asking opinions about?

Interesting. Well, give it a try, but I have a feeling it has several drawbacks.

Like:
- only the Sygmaa have an extra wound (sure, V:NWI on the Umbras is next best thing, but only as long as there's no one to go after you with Shock Ammo),
- you start with just 8 Orders on table (assuming the Fractaa in in AD).
- you have no Fireteam-capable models (Umbra Samaritans can't form a Haris Team on thier own - they can only lead a Fireteam of Xeodrons) save for the two Unidrons (they could form a Core with one of your Legates, but there's little point there, IMO).
- you lack heavy weapons outside of a single Spitfire and MSR. Thet's pretty likely to get you outgunned.

It's make sense, so what are you think about this list on 200 pts ?

First, it is a vanilla list. So no Fireteams there.
Second, 7 Orders on table (including Kornak's Lt. Order turned Regular thanks to Strategos, and Fractaa off-table, in AD). That's, IMO, too few. Kornak is a tough bastard, but he's an obvious Lt, and he's going to be hunted for. You lose him, and you are up your nostrils deep in trouble.

Having a MSR and a Spitfire (and Mk.12) is acceptable heavy weapon saturation. Could do better, but this would do.

If it was me, I'd opt for 9 Orders on-table (and have the Fractaa in the air). Sack Kornak, keep it a pure Onyx force - take a 4th Unidron (and make it a Forward Observer for a mission specialist) and a Nexus, and think if it wouldn't be more advantageous to pass the Spitfire from Unidron to Umbra, and make them work as a Fireteam. There are 2 Lt possibilities then - Umbra Legate or Nexus.
Then see what can be fitted as 10th model with the points remaining. Doesn't have to be much, it would be there primarily as an Order-generator.

Ah. Right, that reminds me: with your 200pts list - why there isn't an Imetron on it? You have 5 points left, mere 7 models in your Combat Group - and could definitely use a Regular Order extra. Chances are it'll land badly and not work as intended, but still, I'd say, worth a try.
