Another "New to Infinity" person

I have been wanting to play Infinity for a long while - now I have people to play against!

We'll start slow, but I wanted to get an idea of a 300 point list I can work towards (not play 300 points right away). I love the looks and idea of Bakunin, so for now I just put together a list of miniatures I really like.

I just want to make sure that this is a semi-viable idea, since I really went with things I liked the look and idea of. I also want a Zoe and Pi-Well eventually, but the sculpts dont do much for me right now. Same with Riot Grrls, where I love the attitude but not thrilled with the armor on them. As you can tell, I also really like the religious troops, and the weirdness of Bakunin.

This looks definitely playable. Myself, I wouldn't be sold in the multiple-hackers-in-a-Fireteam, but then again I do not play Bakunin, and have no access to Reverend Custodiers.
Maybe they actually make sense...?

One minor adjustment I would make would be moving one Morlock into your main group, as to give him access to more orders.. I'd swap him with one of the Moderators.

I have been playing Bakunin for the last few months, so I figured I would give you my thoughts based on my own playing experience.

First off, I feel your list is good and would work well in a match. I suggest you try it out first, using proxies if needed, and check what works and not before buying to much.

That being said, here are some toughts on it.

I'm not a big fan of the Uberfallkommando. Extremely impetuous troops are difficult to play and in this case the fast movement and Climbing plus exposes them to a lot of enemy fire. In my experience they rarely reach the enemy in one piece and Morlocks are more reliable if all your using them for is to block line of sight with smoke. Granted, Eclipse grenade blocks MSV but you can do that with White Noise without exposing yourself to enemy fire and still fire through the White Noise.

Also, Bakunin's best troops are MI which means they don't move very fast. This might not matter much early in the game but it makes a big difference when you need to cross a big span of the table on the last turn to get the win. This and the average order count means it does not lend itself well to rushing the other side with skirmishers in my experience.

I'm also not a big fan of the Custodier link. The Haris team will help getting your specialists where they need to be, but they lack firepower and weapon options. If all you want are the two hackers, they can do this just as well seperatly. If you want to make them more effective, I'd consider replacing the Reverend Healer with Cassandra Kusanagi to give them some extra punch.

Another option would be to add another Moira to the list and just decide on making a Haris with the custodier and Healer or a Core with the Healer and Moiras at the beginning of the game.

Finally, and that is a weakness of Bakunin whatever the list, TAGS and heavily armored enemies will give you a headache. This sectorial lacks real punch for taking these out and you rely a lot on your hackers to neutralize those treats. You can equip your Lunokhod with the Akrylat-Kannone to compensate or use a Prowler with Adhesive launcher.

Hope this helps.
