Kusanagi + R. Healer Link Teams

I have a short and possibly easy to answer question:
Can i create a link team out of four R. Moiras, a R. Healer and Kusanagi?
Or can i only add one of these special troops into one link team.

Another question where i'm sure i know the answer but want to confirm:
I can't use the R. Healer to put a R. Moira and a R. Custodier into the same link team, or use her to put Kusanagi into a R. Custodier team, right?

AFAIK, you can't create a a Link Team of four Moiras, Healer and Kusanagi, for you can't make 6-model Link Teams.
Link Team of 3 Moiras, Kusanagi and Healer is viable.

Actually, you can't - Kusanagi can only be part of Moira Links as Lieutenant, (2+1, 3+1, 4+1)

Healers can only be part of either a Moira link (2+1, 3+1, 4+1) or a Custodier link (2+1, 3+1) - not including Kusanagi

by Mistake Not
Why can't you have a 3+1+1 link? Kusanagi is still a Moira so she shouldn't exclude the Healer.

I think it's similar to the Joan + Fersen thing. That link option is explicitly stated, but the Healer + Kusanagi one isn't.

That's the reasoning I see for disallowing such a team.

But can you tell why? Cassandra+3 Moiras is possible, right? Healer+3 Moiras is also possible. So why Cassandra+(3 Moiras)+Healer isn' t possible? You have Cassandra and 3 Moiras and also 3 Moiras and Healer.

Not to be facetious, but because the rules say so.

The specific link team options are listed for those characters who can join teams. For instance, you can have Joan of Arc + 4 Knights of Santiago, and you can have Joan of Arc + De Fersen + 3 Knights Hospitaller, but you cannot have Joan of Arc + Defersen + 2 Knights Hospitaller + 1 Knight of Santiago.

Kusanagi can only go into +2, +3, +4 Moira fireteams, and only if she is the Kusanagi Lieutenant option.

'Why'? Probably because it got a limited playtest one time and they decided it was OP to have her in a mixed team with healers.

You think that hard as hell unit boosted by good hero and (in my opinion) too good hero is less overpowered than three soft ladies with pretty good hero and doctor? Really? We are playing different games then ;)
Maybe I go wrong, but doesn't Cassandra was named 'Reverend Superior Cassandra Kusanagi, Moira' in Human Sphere? I saw this term somewhere and don't remember where.

I didn't say it was too overpowered, I just said what the rules were and that it's probably based on some playtesting :P

I agree that Cassandra is a bit... underwhelming. Mostly because she has a mediocre weapon considering her boosted BS and doesn't add much more over a regular Moira, except NWI.

If your opponent doesn't have MSV or Template weapons, then believe me, a team of ODD-wearing MI is going to be a nightmare for them - probably just as much a nightmare as a team of HI. At least you can shoot Joan of Arc. Kusanagi is straight up -6 to hit.

And remember, Moiras are a few points cheaper than those Knights.

I think now she is just 'Reverend Superior Cassandra Kusanagi' - but she is the reverend superior of the Re. Moiras, essentially. There was a bit of fluff in the human sphere book where she was broadcasting over the comms to ALEPH who were raiding a nomads ship... that may have been it?

Couldn't you guys just ask it in the offical forum?
And, hopefully, get an official answer to that?

Errhile, it's written in Army 5 in the unit profile for Kusanagi. How much more official can you get?

90% sure it's just a mistake (one of many) done by the Spaniards of CB.

This is actually something that came up in the previous edition of Malifaux. They had several of their named characters who in the fluff were a certain type of model (for example Lady Justice was a Death Marshall) but in the rules they were not. Wyrd Games ended up making the model type a trait that the rules referenced. Until CB does that a model that is in the fluff a certain type (like Kusanagi being a Reverend) does not count in the rules as that model type.

Alright then, on official forum there was an answer that Moiras can link similar to MAF Suryats (which are HI), Kornak (which can onli link with HI) and Raktorak (which is linkable with Suryats but on his own is MI, so theoretically Kornak can't link with team of Suryats with Raktorak included).
