So my mate Daboarder from the offical forums is setting up to run a casual Campaign Paradiso in our club in the coming month. Wanted to post it up here to get some advertising! If you're interested please contact either myself here or on the offical forums, or Daboarder himself on the official forums!
S.I.T.H. PRESENTS: CAMPAIGN PARADISO
====================================
G’day all,
We are currently looking at running a bi-weekly paradiso campaign at GGTH much the same as the escalation league that has just been completed.
In the interest of catering to our member’s variable availability times we will be modifying the campaign structure slightly to allow for variable forces and changing opponents. Therefore we have organized the campaign such that missing a week will not significantly hamper a participant in later games.
Paradiso nights:
=============
All participants will play the same mission every second week and will have the option of playing said mission on any of the official S.I.T.H. wargaming nights.
In the order to maintain a semblance of order and to limit confusion we will request that players only play games contributing to the campaign experience once per campaign week.
We will inform members via the S.I.T.H. wargamers facebook page which nights will contribute on campaign weeks.

We are currently looking to start the campaign on the week begining the 20th of September.
The core rules and missions:
=======================
S.I.T.H wargamers has an in house version of Campaign Paradiso available to participants that would like to refer to or familiarize themselves with the rules of the Infinity Campaign System (ICS) at any point; we request that you treat the clubs property with respect.
However in order to facilitate games we will also be posting the mission layout and scenario rules on the S.I.T.H. wargamers facebook page (link above) on the relevant campaign weeks.
Factions, sectorials and army points:
=============================
While we will allow for the variability of attendance and forces used in a mission we would like to limit participants to the use of a single faction/sectorial for the duration of the campaign. This is a practical consideration to prevent complexity in campaign and spec-ops experience.
However in order to allow ease of access for new members and returning ones, as well as those who may have an interest in starting new forces specifically for the campaign we will not be requiring a specific points total for campaign games other than that agreed to between individual players.
Independent scenario mode:
=======================
The first change to the ICS is that we intend to play each mission in independent scenario mode; this will allow our members to play different people each week without worrying about the actual specific forces involved in a paradiso mission.
Experience points:
==============
Despite playing each scenario as an individual mission we would like each mission to contribute throughout the campaign, as such we aim to maintain the use of experience points from the ICS general rules section.
This will require each player to have a set of ICS mission control screens which can be obtained from the following link.

Special Characters:
===============
We will not be following the rules concerning the death and limitation of named special characters throughout this campaign; if Joan of Arc or Achilles bites it in the first roll of the first game you are free to include them again in your list for following missions at your preference.
Spec-Ops:
=========
We want the campaign to be fun and will be running spec ops rules and their accumulated experience throughout. In order to facilitate this we again request the use of the ICS control screens (link above).
Starting XP:
==========
Spec-Ops will start the campaign with 12 XP pts of starting experience.
Death:
======
We will be including the rules for MEDEVAC and Death of Spec-Ops characters in this campaign. If your spec ops dies in the resolution of a campaign mission you WILL NOT be able to use them in the remainder of the campaign. You will however be allowed to start accumulating experience with a new Spec-Ops character with 12 pts of starting experience from that point on.
Keeping track of it all:
=================
We ask, in the interests of transparency, that you have your opponent sign off your ICS control screens after you have added your experience points for each contributing game.
We also ask that you post the results of the game on a dedicated reporting post that will be established each campaign week.
A final note:
=========
The purpose of this Campaign is to participate in fun, story driven missions with some consequence carried throughout the campaign. We request that members who are participating in games do so in a lighthearted and relaxed manner which is typical of the casual gaming environment found at S.I.T.H. wargamers.
We appreciate any feedback you may provide throughout this campaign in order to determine if future such events would be welcome and any changes to the above system that may be required for those events
Cheers!
