At least someone from D-S team, who is skilled in PHP coding, or knows very good phpbb inner workings. BTW: Which version is it? 3.0 or 3.1?

More than administrator, it would be developer. And you test it in non live version first. Or if  it has to be done live, you do it from a different access and do the rename dance.

You fake spam, for example copying from past ones. Or with some software, you write the magic test phrase. All you want is check the filter receives the messages and triggers in some cases. Detecting spam later will depend on training... for which you better also have some past spams at hand.

I don't even know if we have a test environment. Coder would be the one to ask, but he's always rather busy.

I've set up a spam shield in the WP on the blog-section. I hope this reduces the incoming spam on that side (maybe it works for the entire site (blog + forum))

Nope it'll help only in blog, since forums are separated from blog.

And here we are again. Keep the antispam measure on. Glue the button so it can never go off.

I'm pretty sure they aren't listening right now, maybe they're asleep, it's 1AM here and they're likely in a similar timezone. Hopefully we won't be buried to our eyeballs in spam by the time they wake up and ban the bastards.

Sorry guys, I don't have access to the Sphere at work anymore, so I've been slacking a bit in my duties. Working on the current batch right now and have introduced new anti-spam protocol to handle these.

I'll be opening applications for Moderator roles soon.

Keep an eye out for that post later tonight.

Alright. I've made some pretty drastic and sweeping changes.

Apologies for any inconvenience this will cause and I hope you guys don't mind working with me as I try and sort this all out.

You'll notice there is an open Moderator application as well as some altered forums access.
