Got an idea, make any post requiring extended unicode (say, for chinese/japanese/korean language support) require moderator permission to post.

So we only get kitchens or movie downloads (that is the new thing in official forum)?

Dear Santa,

I have been very good this year. Originally I was going to ask for some new Infinity miniatures. Upon recent reflection, I think there are others out there who need more than I do. I have a fairly comfortable living in the first-world country of Canada, and forsaking something for the good of others is what the Christmas spirit is all about. So, instead of bringing me shiny metal toys this year, I have one wish...

Send the ManBearPig to Korea.

Sincerely,

H1ghlander

I don't know how to implement such things, but I'll bring it up with our web dev and see what we can cook up.

There is also sblam, totally free (or voluntary donation), but like Akismet it requires sending things to others, and needs some coding to integrate.
As for local, it seems nobody has done the full thing, at best just some libs you have to hack into the system. For example: http://php-nlp-tools.com/documentation/ ... model.html http://www.phpclasses.org/package/5072- ... ethod.html

First thing to do is to go through the list of users up to two months ago and remove all that have 0 posts, these are the bots that are bringing new bots insite.

Also see that all the bots have some fucked-up e-mail adresses - so no gmail, etc - but some strange russian and other like this. All will probably have a site and many contact options (the site is 90%, many contacts is around 50%). Just remove them - and set Admin validation for each new member.

Moddb has a function where if enough people down-vote a post it hides it. I don't know if that would be useful, but it might be a nice stop-gap until the mods are able to get to whatever has been flagged.
