Please raise the number of attachments allowed for the hobby sections. Three is frustratingly low.

Agreed... that does seem rather low.

The number of attachments has been increased to 10, although I do ask that you consider using external hosting where possible so we can save on disk and bandwidth usage.

What is the current size limit? 1/4 MB still?

1/2 MB in posts, 1/4 MB in private messages.

Changed recently? Because when uploading the shanty map it whined about a file being 280 or so.

Yeah, both were changed shortly before I posted each time.

Get a tumblr. It's way easier and more reliable than photobucket (or "boat o' fuck-it" as I call it, given how often it just refuses to work for me), and free. You don't have to follow anyone or participate in the social networking/blogging aspect if you don't want to. Getting an image from tumblr to a forum is as easy as putting a pair of IMG tags on either side of the image's URL.

I think recommending something like imgur, flickr, photobucket(r?), etc would be easier, not put forum data at risk of loss (since if the forum blew up, the pictures would still be elsewhere), and also require fewer server resources.
