I played Infinity back in 2009. It seemed like the game was much popular back then. Is it because od 3rd edition ?
When (in your opinion) Infinity was at its peak ? (in popularity)

No way. If anything, it's exploded and there's lots of new people playing. Did you play in a closed group? Maybe some of the people you knew stopped but others started playing in places/groups you don't know.

It might depend on the place.

In my city a few people moved out during past few years and our group still cannot recover from that. It's very hard to convince people to simply look at something that isn't w40k or Warmahordes.

In my community it exploded since N3 and since a few months we combined several player groups from the area into one club, so we have a bright future ahead infinity wise.
