We are quite happy to announce our cooperation with the designer of Norsgard - Pawel 'Red Rogue' Zuchowski.
We will be designing terrain and accessories for the game, which will also mean boosting our Fantasy line.

The first one which will get an exclusive scenario as well is the Mead Hall and you can see it further down the line.

Hmm, with a different set of internal furnishings it could do for a church or another (small) official building on Ariadna, I'd say. Something less flashy than Vang, but still nice :)

I like it.

Great buiding!
I wasn't sure if terrain made of MDF/HDF for Fantasy will look good, but this is a superb proof that everythind depends on a design. And your design is superb :)

Thanks to Zen Terrain we had the pleasure to play on that crane at yesterdays tournament!

I played one game on the board with it and my enemy even decided to use a container to make a little Foxhole :P

Fantastic piece of terrain :)

Signs, too, now?!

If I delay ordering from y'all more, I'm just gonna have an even bigger purchase.

Come on dude I buy from them and I'm using the bloody AUD man up and buy some.

Grab one of the 15% off deals over xmas and your first purchase has a 5% as well or whatever and that basically wipes out the shipping fees. Plus the store actually has USD on it so it's not like you're going to add things to cart, calculate postage than see some stupid 22% increase when it goes to paypal/bank transfer for international exchange rate.

There may well be some surprises for this Xmas apart from the usual discount.

Anyway some more Norsgard stuff if that's up your alley (I promise some more SCI-FI will be coming soon).

That piece could easily be a piece of smal architecture in a war-devastated city on Paradiso.
Especially if you put some figurine (sculpture, monument) in the centre of it.

Alternatively, if not broken like shown, it would just as well be something on Svalarheima (PanO territories). Norse stylistics are likely to be big there (especially given the population seems to be largely Scandinavian)

Hello guys long time no see but we're not beating around the bush I can assure you.

We got something new from the HAB line, a bigger, better L-HAB. Soon we will also release both models in a left handed version (mirrored). The L-HAB is stackable in the same manner as HAB buildings and fully compatible with its smaller unit - see the info-graphics for a better understanding. There will be an optional neon sign for the L-HAB sold separately (desings TBC).

Hi Zen -

I was perusing some of your older Infinity stuff, and while I'm sure you have quite a bit on your plate...

I'd love to see refreshed versions of your MedBay and Futuristic Chapel - perhaps even with optional interiors.

...just a thought...

I'm sorting out my gaming group's order and one of the boys sends me the image with those 6 wheeled LAVs. Bravo Zulu - they look awesome.

I have to agree with Section 9 the Roit system looks awesome and would be my first pick. The missle launcher looks good as well - a close second. I'm not a fan of the barrel and turret design of the 30mm cannon. The barrel lacks presence and does not look imposing - dinky was the word. The turret also looks a little small and unassuming.

Could we get afew images from different angles. Looks like the front is sporting some sort of breaching ramp system for building entry.

- Keep up the good work!

I'm under the impression it is less a crewed turret, and more a remotely operated weapons station / unmanned turret.
Such things are becoming pretty common in modern-day concept designs.

@ Errhile - I understand the concept it's an old idea, but we're playing Infinity, it's the future with voodoo tech. Just making an asthetic observation. This looks more like a LAV or police vech. After thinking about it maybe a crew hatch on the top would be a nice feature - unless it's the bit behind the turret.

The reason I ask is I know future tech would solve the issue to close contact where you'd no longer need a crew with eyes on anyone getting too close to the vehicle. Today when crews are rolling in high density areas we have to have one 'spotter'/sucker with their head out. Even more so when deploying without PBI support.

Mr Zen (or is it Terrain) you're stuff looks awesome. Keep it up!

A few pics of the prototype.

To answer some of the questions raised - the idea behind it is simple - it's a support vehicle with a space for 2 to 8 people inside (skeleton crew of 2 for missile launcher operating from behind the lines rest of the space taken by extra ammo and loading mechanism, 6 for the autocannon version, 8 for the riot version). The autocannon providing a continuous covering fire under semi autonomous operation protocols, the crew exiting the vehicle in a relative safety from the back of it. The riot version is stripped down inside - loosing extra armor and cannon ammo racks in lieu of space for 8 heavily armed riot officers - which goes into the thick of things where unrest has spiraled out of control making use of it's monitoring system to pinpoint the biggest troublemakers.

Right loving it in person.

Did you chamfer any edges yourself?

Thats one of the big issues with say the CNC Workshop vehicles to get the most out of them you need to finish a decent amount of that yourself?

Is this going to be a fit (within reason of course as always) and go product?

Well, I'm probably nitpicking, but the rear doesn't look like it has an entry hatch (nb. could be standard on the missile version too, it - among others - makes resplenishing ammuniton way easier RL).

Did you chamfer any edges yourself? ... CNC ...

Simple answer - no filing needed - everything goes together without any more than a bit of glue.

Now I do adore the CNC design, but I completely agree that the finished product pics do tend to cheat a bit.

This design will be the first when we use something I have not seen in any other manufacturer (and from now on we will be using that a lot!) which is engraving the HDF. The result is not so visible on that prototype but the final version will have a lot deeper grooves with a nice texture in some places on the model (if you look close you will see the engraved spaces).

Re: ZenTerrain

by Dozer » April 28th, 2016, 3:19 pm

I got my order in a week ago and my new Zen Terrain is under construction. Once again the instructions are easy to follow, best I've used actually (vs Warsenal, Custom Meeple, and Systema). The police station is still in the build phase but the Hab Biker Bar has been a fun project and is turning out very well. The L-Shaped Hab buildings are super slick and mesh very well with my current set of small Hab buildings. I'll weigh one down with a base to keep balance because once I start stacking them all together the weight gets a little wonky. I'm looking at a second order of both Hab Bundles in the future as they get a lot of use on my table and the stackable feature is brilliant.

Lastly I love the tokens I got. I snagged 11 of the order tokens in light green for both battle groups so I have 22 tokens in total and they are slick. I had 1 blue commander token and 4 white commander tokens ordered for my command and Lt tokens and a full set of 10 the tear dropped shaped irregular and impetuous. I love the teardrop shape it's to show who's affected, some of the newer players in my group appreciate the clarity in designation with those tokens when I'm in loss of Lt or playing with a full set of JSA bikes. This is now my token set, while the MAS tokens I got when I started back in 2010 are used by guests and new players in my group.

This is my second order with Zen Terrain and I will be a returning customer. Keep it up.
