Hi everyone,

We are a small start-up company trying to get into the wargaming terrain market.

These are our first steps but we already have some buildings to show and really big plans for the future, depending of course on the levels of interest from the community.

We are starting with SCI-FI terrains for 28mm scale - mainly because Infinity is becoming more popular within our gaming group - but the bigger picture will accomodate any scale and any period. Flames of War, Malifaux, Kensei, WH40K and even boardgames like Sergeants or Samurai Battles - you name it. We want to be there to provide more spark for your favorite hobby.

One of our main goals is to keep all these nice buildings and terrain pieces at reasonable prices that's why at the beginning we are going to produce stuff from 3mm HDF and also stiff cardboard with different thicknesses, all of which will be laser-cut.

Here are some of our products so far:

That are some nice buildings. And I'm always happy to see some Europe based companies. I'll keep an eye on your shop.

That stuff looks cool :)

I just wonder if this topic shouldn't be moved to the commercial section (Other Manufacturers), as I understeand this part of the forum is rather meant for players' individual terrain.
Nothing we couldn't amend in time, though :)

I am really impressed. There are some really cool textures and concepts there.

Some buildings... those Hab-Blocks in particular... are a little "blank" imho. They could use some details to break up these large areas.

While other companies (iE MAS) use horizontal add-ons to give their buildings a square and squat look, you could go vertical and follow the lines you have already engraved in your parts. That way, you could depict a architectual concept that wants to go higher and higher, creating the narrow alleys we find in ie New York.

Just my 2 Cents...

That's done in purpose to make these buildings at a reasonable price but still good looking.

I'm not sure if it is visible but you can stack HAB buildings as high as you like :

These are looking really nice! Is there going to be any distribution via other shops as well or mainly through your own webstore once it is up?

Since you have a topic there already, I guess we just let this one slide down in time :)
Though we could probably merge them together, too. I'll let the right people know.

Hi Zen Terrain,
Thank you for joining Datasphere. We are happy to have you with us and look forward to more updates from your line. You have some really nice work and we wish you the best in your business endeavor.

Please note- The terrain section is for showing off projects and for individuals to show and share there work. Your initial post is perfect for the other retailers and manufacturers section of the forum. (which is see you have posted there as well) I would ask that you edit your first post showing only your painted finished work. Use this section to show DS members finished products, WIP etc. This section is not for advertisement. Please use the other retailers and manufacturers section for those purposes. Please remember no advertising in this section only hobby posts related to the building, painting and designing of terrain.

Thank you

Can I please ask to move this topic to retailers and manufacturers section (somebody else made a topic there and I have completely missed that forum section) and merge with the one that's already there?

Thanks and sorry for the confusion.

For starters it will be mainly through our webstore.

Well not really, if you hell bent on it the roof does not have to be glued on and is removable.

Well, I guess making a floorplate for it available (even as a separate add-on) wouldn't be a big deal then :)

...Infinity players tend to be big on being able to play inside of the buildings :)

Oh, I'm not.
Just curious. Personally, I think that buildings should have either interior accent or exterior. In this case we have the later and doing interior details will hurt playability and rise price.

Actually, I didn't had the details in mind - merely accessibility. So - have a floor and access points like doors (or at least - doorframes) provided, also, winodws that let you peek (and shoot) outside...

Topo Solitario's iKubes are a prime example - beautifully coloured and they can fill your table for a penny, but due to obvious reasons yuo can't really get your models inside. If it is just a single piece of an iKube, that's not a problem - but once the table is half-filled with them... you get the picture.

I think in the future we might add the interiors as a separate item.

Coming back to the HAB you can definitely play inside that particular model due to the roof being removable - EVEN when you stack them on top of each other (because then one model's roof becomes the floor for the other).

I mean the interiors would be spartan to say the least but the possibility is there.

A little update on what you can expect soon in the store.

Also some experimentation we did with flexible material

Still needs to go through painting session to see how it's holding up against a couple of layers of washes and such.

They look really neat (even if I'm not really sold on the base topper idea myself).

Yes they are - they will be available in different styles and at a quite affordable price.
The version we'll be selling is a 1,5mm thick hard cardboard (first from the top).
