Recently i published a new painting tutorial on Scar_hand Painting blog.

Here's the introduction and two random pictures.

Introduction: Five Layers Technique is a basic technique of choosing and applying colours. I especially reccomend it for begginers as it is simple, easy to learn, fast and rewarding. You can apply almost every colour using this technique and achieve good results as long as you choose proper paints to do so. It is especially good for either painting entire army 'tabbletop level' or preparing a miniature for much more complex paintjob.

Very nice tutorial! I'll share this with my local group. Seems like a great way to achieve a good "tabletop standard"

For some reason seeing the title all capitalized like this made me think of old martial arts movies techniques, "the Five Point Palm Exploding Heart Technique will quickly leave your minis tabletop ready!" or something like that

Good, simple to follow technique that'll bring nice results in a cool bright cartoonish style, should fit extremely well our anime-inspired figures. I'd love to see this applied from beginning to end on one or more Infinity minis, with optional extra details.
