Did you know that MAS makes a whole line of sci-fi terrain outside of their Infinity District 5 line? I didn’t until I saw this set in a youtube video. Notice the use of an Infinity Miniature to show scale.

Here is a closer shot of the cool barracks.

The Barracks is cast from high density expanding foam. It’s sort of like the expanding foam insulation you can buy in a can. The barracks pictured above is actually two pieces, the barracks building and the reign cast security door.
The Tower is a standard HDF 3mm thickness kit.

The set consists of 2 foam barrack buildings, a watchtower of HDF and 2 resin Security Entrances #3

Approximate size of the foam building:
Length: 13,4cm / 5,3 inch
Width: 12,4 cm / 4,9 inch
Height: 6,4 cm / 2,5 inch

Approximate size of the HDF watchtower:
Length: 8,6 cm / 3,4 inch
Width: 8,6 cm / 3,4 inch
Height: 18 cm / 7 inch

All for just 30.00 Euro! Here is the MAS store link: http://www.shop.microartstudio.com/barracks-p-577.html

Here are two unboxing videos for further edification.

I've never been a fan of those. Somehow lacks a real Hard SciFi feel.

Same here, really. And I don't think it's that affordable at all, for a foam building and a HDF tower.

But thanks for posting, though. :)

I don't like the price either, but I can envision using the barracks as city style storage units by replacing the security doors with scratch built roll down metal garage style doors. If I can find some cheap that's what I'll do. I have no use for the tower.

They'd be good for a 40K battlefield (I'm sick to death of all the skulls, skulls everywhere). Still overpriced.

Yeah not huge into these either. Nice work as a whole but just don't do it for me.
