LukaszZelazek: Tohaa gallery update on page 2

PostPosted: May 30th, 2015, 1:36 pm

Hello,

my adventure with Infinity started from commision painting of some models. I expected that the quality of minis of other company than GW will be inferior. You for sure can imagine my suprise when i received and unpacked models.

I`m from Poland, Gdansk and I`m looking forward to start my own adventure with Infinity. I must admit that all I did so far was reading the fluffbook from N3 preorder and decided I wanna play Yu Jing. Rulebook was not yet opened for reading purposes.

Here, I wanted to present you with some of my painting achievements. If you like it please leave a comment.
First check out PanOceania and Ironman!

Hi Lukas,
The minis look really nice. I'm starting a pan-O force myself and will be painting many of these figs. I hope to get such great results.
Looking forward to more pics!

Glad to hear that you are starting your collection, hope you will find inspiration in my gallery and your minis will look even better. But beware, that there is no PanO without proper support of fire teams and TAGs:

Hey Lukasz,

your PanO minis look fine so far - the bleedings are great. I guess you use an airbrush for that?

One nitpick that I have: You could use some more highlighting and blacklingin along the details (like edges and stuff). Especially blacklining will help bring out details and make areas pop out more. Right now, some parts look still a bit flat - please don't get this the wrong way. It's just something that jumped out at me. :)

That is a very good point Kenza thank you for pointing my attention to it. I fixed that in my following commission (ALEPH) that will be uploaded after PanO.
In the meantime I present you the king of ARO:

Haha, I like what you did with the base of that cutter. He looks totally alarmed because he stepped on that trunk and made some noise. Great!

Maybe I exaggerated a bit. But ALEPH is by far the project I put the most effort and heart into. I received extremly positive feedback about them and I think it can be one of the best Infinity painted armies, excluding ofc. single display painted miniatures with scenery and stuff. People paint them for a week or even more. For me as a commission painter that would not be economically possible so I must do the best I can in given amount of time.

Nevertheless, I`m still at the beginning of my road. My website isn't even finnished yet and I didn't edit my Fb and Twitter profiles so far. It feels so weird that I've been painting so many years without this things.

Hello there.

Our photo journey with PanOceania came to an end. Today is my final update. Thank you for liking and expecially commenting. Your feedback is always most appreciated.

If you like my style and would like to see photos of miniatures other than Infinity painted by me check out my gallery: http://lukaszzelazek.com/gallery/

Time for final mini, Bagh Mari. The fellow from Acontecimento responsible for all that swampy mess on the bases of entire collection.

After very positive and welcoming responses to my PanO gallery, time for the next commission, ALEPH. I spend the most time per miniature during this project so it is expecially close to my heart.
Currently I`m trying very hard to surpass the level of presented ALEPH while painting my current Tohaa project. It's very hard tho.
Wish me luck. :D

WOW Presidente we wrote posts the same time. Thanks for appreciating my original ALEPH color scheme modifications. I wanted them to look like original ALEPH, but not as pale. So my purples are more vibrant and white material is shaded with brown colors to add some warmer feel to the miniatures.

Finnished Dasyus. What do you guys think? If I still had the model I would fix the knee pads. Shading and edges on them look terrible.

Thanks for comments, so few people actually take the time to write something for me. I really appreciate comments, so if you have some thaughts about my works don't shy away from sharing them with us.

VisOne I actually fell in love with Infinity because of the details on those Nagas, wait until I will post the female Sniper Nagas!

Maxvon_d I wish it was my ALEPH. :ohdear:
All my works posted so far are a commission paintings for clients, but I`m planning something very special for my Infinity Combined Army so keep visiting my thread or website from time to time http://lukaszzelazek.com/gallery/

Very nice stuff, I really like your Aleph. Only constructive criticism I have is the green on the PanO models seems a bit flat, particularly compared to the blue.

About that green, that was a hard choice but it had to be more dull. If green and blue would be bright miniature would look bad, because of too many bright colors (red, blue, yellow are already eye catching).

Today I present you :aleph: star, that we all have been waiting for!

If view of my works satisfies your eyes, you can watch more :aleph: models here: http://lukaszzelazek.com/gallery/

Group photo of ALEPH badasses. I received some comments that I should post photos of entire armies, however I didn't make any so far. I thaught that group photo doesn't show painting accurately but I could always make both close ups and group photos. Will remmember this next time.
