Aleph Preview: Scylla, Steel Phalanx NCO

Steel Phalanx will be getting a new unit to their force end of this month! Scylla, the NCO.

Corvus Belli was kind enough to give us a few things to preview! Enjoy! ๐Ÿ˜‰

We received word directly from Bostria that Scylla will come in a box, accompanied by two Devabots and another character named Drakios.

Next to that Scylla will be a strong hacker, allowing Steel Phalanx and Vanilla Aleph to gain a lot of board control. We wonder what that means! ๐Ÿ˜‰ Do you have any ideas? Post them below!

Keep an eye out on this month’s releases, and be sure to catch a glimp of this bad ass hacker girl!

What the hell a strong hacker is she another Aoidoi then?

Granted A.S.S only has Thamyris with a Hacking Device then an Assault Hacking version of a Myrmidon and Ekdromoi but still do A.S.S and in particular ALEPH need another strong named character hacker?

And the other gent Drakios god knows what sort of shenanigans he will be bringing to the table. I guess the Devabots part is some consolidation if they have G: Synchronized Devabots their very very unlikely to be linkable or come with Fireteam: Enomotarchos special rule.

I’m wondering if she at least won’t be a little like maybe the Interventors w/ Fast Pandas or maybe like Zoe and Pi-well?

Yeah, I feel you. SP gets a lot of love.

I’m really curious myself about the Scylla though. To me it sounds somewhat like the Sophotect; a mix between the Greek and the Vedic armies and ideas.

I’m really wondering if this model uses the SP powers herself; linkability, frenzy, ODD.. you get the idea. ๐Ÿ˜‰
Looking at her and the other content of the box, I feel we’ll see some Dogged/NWI at the most, with G:Synced Devabots.

Looking at the rumoured board-control, maybe she’ll have some retro-fitted Devabots with repeaters. Actually, I feel she might be more worthwhile in vanilla (Asura HD+, anyone?) than in Steel Phalanx.

But I feel your concerns. Another character with OP stats for the Phalanx. Let’s wait and see her profile.

I guess the whole stop introducing new models without rules while you still have outstanding profiles without models thing comes into it as well.

I get CB has never explained their process on releases and I doubt they ever will but someone release a freakin Tikbalang already. ๐Ÿ˜›

“a lot of board control” Will that involve Charybdis?

  4. Hero of Man says:

I can’t even bring myself to be mad, regardless of the obvious greek love CB has over vedics. Lots of character going on with her, and though I doubt she’ll keep this concept art pose, I’d be super down if she did.

It’s an ok concept and I like the detail with the glasses.

But why are the Infinity girls trapped in the 2000s low rise pants style?

The 80’s are coming back now in 2015, who’s to say the 2000’s can’t come back in style in the future? ๐Ÿ˜‰

That said, SP is getting cooler and cooler. I’m not gonna be able to resist it’s pull for much long at this rate!

I’m sure she’ll make a fine proxy for my PanO force (just like the Chandra)
